Steve and family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is never easy when losing a loved one. Glen was always a kind and caring person. My life was made better for having known him. My condolences.

Steve, Mark, Linda and all family. My wife Kerry and I send our condolences for the loss of your Father, Glenn. I went to school with Steve and we were high school hoops teammates at Falls North. But in 8th grade, we played on a Kiwanis Green team that Mr. Sievers coached. It was here where I got to know your Father, and it was there where I got to experience what a truly great man he was. I've often told people that he was my favorite coach of all. Yes, we were 22-0 under his leadership so he taught us how to win, but more importantly, he taught us to be humble, to work hard, to treat others with respect, and at all times, still have fun with those around you. Being a 14 year old boy/man, there could not have been a better example in my life of humbleness and kindness; dedication and love, for the game and for all those around us. As I aged and had 4 kids, I always entered the Brewer parking area where he was working, hoping to spend just a minute of time talking to him, telling my kids what a great man and coach he was, with cars beeping their horns behind us as I was holding up the traffic. Just to hear him say, "hello David" was worth any mean stares we got from the waiting traffic! We are unfortunately out of town during the service this week, but please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers, knowing that this fine man is now in heaven, coaching some kid somewhere, teaching them the fundamentals of the sport, and of life, just like he did to all who knew and loved him. RIP Mr. Sievers and a job well done. Our Love....Dave and Kerry Gross and family

Another memory I had that stuck with me is Grandpa and Grandma would always take us on a Christmas tradition and took us to Downtown Milwaukee to see the holiday show and dinner with all of the grandchildren. It is a tradition that I hope to start with my own family one day! Thank you Grandpa and Grandma!

Things everyone knew grandpa loved: sports, math, and his family. He always would give us grandkids math quizzes and took opportunities to come to our sports games and other activities to show his support. I’ll miss Christmases with him, his funny one liners, and especially miss the way he held my hand when he greeted me and when I was leaving.

Growing up Grandpa would always get breakfast in Fond du lac at the Schreiner's restaurant to catch up! It was great to hear about his current tutoring students and talk about the latest sports.

I also remember where he would make the trip up to Ripon and even farther for volleyball games--where he would always give honest feedback on how the game was and how I played. Which was always appreciated and made me a better player! He even surprised me at a tournament or two :).

I will miss him dearly!
