Davies, Rita Jane 

(nee Hardaker) Age 74 born May 18 1939 Joined Christ in Heaven on April 3, 2014.  She is survived by her loving family, Dan, her husband of 53 years, her children, Henry (Barb Osbon) Davies, Jason (Mary) Davies, Meghan (Bart) Sheldon, her grandchildren Kendell and Brett Sheldon.  Her siblings Jean (David) Bayley, Nancy Brosnan, Carol Hardaker, Dennis (Ellen) Hardaker, Eileen (Jay) Ryan.  Multiple generations of nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her brother-in-law Dan Brosnan.

Rita was raised in East Troy, where she lived most of her life.  She and Dan were founding members of the Mukwonago United Church of Christ.  She retired from her career in Research and Development at Red Star Yeast in Milwaukee at age 62.  She enjoyed quilting, sewing, camping, bicycling, canoeing and kayaking, cross-country skiing, and watching her grandchildren grow.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 12 at 3:00 PM at the Mukwonago United Church of Christ (S93 W30740 Hwy NN., Mukwonago). A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the church.  Memorials to Mukwonago United Church of Christ or Heifer International (heifer.org) are appreciated.
