Kathleen A. McIntyre
September 23, 1950 - February 17, 2014

After a courageous battle, Kathy McIntyre, 63, of Oconomowoc, WI, died Monday, February 17th, 2014 from complications of a recently diagnosed auto-immune disorder.

            Mrs. McIntyre was born on September 23rd, 1950 in Beaver dam, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Merlyn Kennedy. She was married to Malcolm McIntyre in 1972 in Oshkosh, WI.

            Mrs. McIntyre was a 1968 graduate of Beaver Dam High. She attended the University of Eau Claire and later graduated from Northeastern University with honors. She lived in Oconomowoc for many years. She loyally worked at Rockwell Automation for 26 years. She was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and grandmother and wonderful friend to many. Her kindness, strength, resilience and selflessness will live on in the lives of those she touched.

Survived by her husband Malcolm McIntyre of Oconomowoc, children, Erin (McIntyre) McMurrich of Toronto, Caitlin McIntyre (Nashville), siblings Thomas (Laurie) Kennedy of Beaver Dam, Deborah (Charles) Brown of Germantown, Donald (Holly Mulvaney) Kennedy of Beaver Dam, Cynthia (Peter) Elliott of Oconomowoc, Kim (Larry Affeldt) Root of Beaver Dam, Tim (Jackie Crouse) of Salamanca, New York, Patrick (Maggie) Kennedy of Port Washington, John Kennedy III of Wausau, Megan (Dan) Schultz of Germantown; and 21 close nieces and nephews Cara, Brooke, & Eric Kennedy, Nicole, Lindsay & Hilary Brown, Sarah, Matt & Rachel Elliott, Ryan & Megan, McKenzie Root, Shane, Blair & Fallon Kennedy, Jordan & Brooke Kennedy, John IV & Sam Kennedy, Matthew, Katelyn, & Ben Schultz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Jean Kennedy. 

Mass will take place at 11am on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at St. Bruno Parish in Dousman, WI.  

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, people make donations to the charity or organization of their choice.
