Bardenwerper, James E. , DDS Of St.. Germain, WI.  Long-time resident of Wauwatosa. Born to Eternal Life, Sunday, November 17, 2013. Age 90. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Johnson) for 66 years. Dear father of Connie Forslund (Bruce Robb), Kristin Connell (Patrick), Jim (Sharon) and Carl (Diane). Fun and beloved grandfather of David, Laurie (Tom), Julie, Brett and Lauren. Proud great grandpa of Martin. Brother of Charles, Tom (Dottie), and Karla Gern (Richard). Preceded in death by his parents Hulburt and Ruth (nee Karls), and brothers, Woody (Dottie) and Fred (Ruth Mary). 

Jim was born July 9, 1923 in Milwaukee and graduated from Wauwatosa High School after attending West Division High School in Milwaukee. He graduated from University of Detroit Dental School after attending Milwaukee State Teachers College and Central Michigan University. Jim practiced dentistry for 41 years in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and as a Navy Dentist stationed in San Diego and at Camp Pendleton. He served as president of the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association and the Milwaukee Odontological Academy. An active member of Trinity Episcopal Church for 50 years, Jim served on the vestry and sang in the choir. After retiring in 1988, he and Carol moved to their beloved cottage on Finley Lake in St. Germain.  Jim assumed a leadership role at St. Mary of the Snows Anglican Church in Eagle River and took great joy and pride in selecting and singing hymns for the services each week. Jim served as president of the Easy Eagles Men's Club and is remembered for his kindness, cheerful optimism, quick wit and sense of humor. He had a passion for tennis,photography, music, politics and his many pets over the years. 

Visitation Saturday, November 23 from 11:00am until time of Memorial service at 1:00pm at TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 1717 Church Street, Wauwatosa.  Interment Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee. Memorials appreciated to the Salvation Army or St. Mary of the Snows Anglican Church, Eagle River. A second memorial service is being planned for Eagle River on Saturday, December 7.
