Weink, Velva Valentine  

Joined her loving husband Richard Valentine Weink at the age of 83.  Caring mother of Richard (Jill), the late Roger, Warren, Wanda (Tim) Wells, the late Vicki Beck, and Cheryl.  Caring and thoughtful grandmother of Jason, Emily, Douglas, and Jordan Weink, Sam and Valerie Wells, Abigail Beck, Brandon, Ava, and Tori Matthes.  Also survived by Peter and Maureen Beck and many other relatives and friends. 

Velva appeared to have a quiet demeanor, but she never met a stranger.  She had a warm, sweet, good nature that was so welcoming and easy to talk to.  She helped her friends and family at the drop of a hat, no matter what.  Velva was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She was one of the founding members of the Wise Wives Homemakers Club, sharing skills, tips, tools, and most of all friendship with neighboring wives and families.

Velva was a very good cook and baker who spent countless hours baking cookies and things around holidays.  She was a skilled painter, quilter, seamstress and more.  Velva loves crafts and was generous in sharing her talents and interests with family and friends.

Velva loved participating in her grandchildren’s lives.  She was always interested in their interests and participated in whatever event or hobby she could.

Velva enjoyed traveling – Hawaii was her favorite! Camping trips with the kids, jaunts to family reunions, visiting friends and siblings throughout her life. Velva spread her positive cheer throughout her grateful family.    

Velva’s kind, generous, supportive, loving personality will be missed, but certainly celebrated by all who knew her.  The home she has returned to is as heavenly as the home she created here on earth.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.  There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Mukwonago.
