Meg was a proud graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in 1942 and enjoyed the friendships and many reunions with her fellow students. As one of the greatest generations, she enlisted in the army immediately after graduation and spoke  often of her experience during WWII in Guam and New Guinea. She married another army veteran,Herbert Riehle, on May 3,1947 and they settled in Menomonee Falls and raised 7 children.

Meg was widowed at the age of 39 and returned to school to receive a public health nursing degree. She worked for 20 years as a public health nurse in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties. After her retirement she spent time traveling to Ireland, Europe and various places in the US with family and friends. Meg enjoyed reading and going to the movies, theater and symphony with family and friends. Her greatest pride were her children. Meg loved and cherished each one of her grandchildren also.

Meg was loved, respected and admired by many and was often sought out to answer medical questions that she always willingly answered.Meg will never be forgotten as her spirit lives on in family members left behind. We will forever feel the loss of her presence and her caring heart and good humor.

A special thank you to Cedar Community and especially the Timber Care employees for their loving care given to Mom; and the Hospice Nurses who had a special loving relationship with Mom.
