Lena Ellen Hutt, the beloved daughter of Roy and Fleta (nee Baxter) Hutt was born on November 15, 1917, in Shenandoah, Iowa. She found peace on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the age of 94 years in Mukwonago, Wisconsin.

Lena attended high school in Blanchard, IA and Westboro, MO.  After graduating from high school, Lena met William Christiansen and after a three year courtship they were united in marriage on July 7, 1942, and together they raised three children, Alan (Mary), Cheryl and Marcia Christiansen. She was the proud grandmother of Michael (Amanda) Christiansen and Matthew (Samantha) Christiansen, KayLeigh (Matthew) Sockrider, Christopher (Brenda) Acker, Anthony (Amy) Acker and Carla (Steven) Greve and great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. Lena is also survived by her brother Raymond (Lois) Hutt and her sister-in-law Lillian Hutt. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Lloyd Hutt, she is further survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lena loved gardening and was a talented artist, always creating beautiful works of art with her flowers and paintings. She loved playing the guitar, piano and singing. Lena enjoyed her outdoor space but her greatest love and joy was spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7, from 10 AM until 10:45 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 11 AM. Burial will be private for the family at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
