Helen Manke of Ashippun passed away on Saturday March 17, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She was born June 28, 1924 in Pewaukee to Walter and Frances Winkelman. Helen married Gordon Manke on May 3, 1947 in Hartland. Gordon preceded Helen in death on February 28, 2010. Helen is the loving mother of Charles (Sharon) Manke, James (Nancy) Manke, and Marvin (Kathleen) Manke. She is also survived by grandchildren John (Lisa) Manke, Amy (Mike) Ortner, Lori Manke, Traci (Matthew) Plotz, Jennifer (Mike) Lorbetske, Kristina (Will) Runke, and 10 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters Evelyn Staus and Marion Abrath. Friends may visit on Thursday March 22, 2012 from 4:00pm until time of funeral service at 7:00pm all at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ashippun (N1245 St. John's Way Oconomowoc, WI. 53066). Final rest St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
