Gary G. Newkirk age 74 of Sullivan passed away Monday January 30, 2012 at the Lake Country Health and Rehab Center. Gary was born August 14, 1937 in Baraboo, WI to John and Hazel (nee St. Claire) Newkirk. Gary was a machinist at Briggs and Stratton. He is survived by his friend Joy Brown of Oconomowoc, his children Roxanne Newkirk of Baraboo, Christopher and Daniel Newkirk both of Milwaukee, his sister Eleanor (Ivan) Knuth of Sullivan, and brothers Dale (Pat) Newkirk of TN. and John Newkirk of Ladysmith, WI. Also survived by his two grandchildren Jonathan and Travis. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sister-in-laws. Friends may visit Saturday, February 4th from 1:00pm until time of the memorial service at 3:00pm all at the funeral home. Memorials of the donors choice appreciated.
