Of East Troy. Passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee DuDeVoire). Loving father of Joseph (Patty), Robert (Kay), Gary (Cherrie) and Daniel Muchka and Judy (Tim) Risse. Dear brother of Mary Campbell of Portland Oregon and Richard (Sandy) Muchka of East Troy; brother-in-law of Jeannine Frankenberg of Crivitz and Dean DuDeVoire of South Carolina. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan; grandson Mark Paul Muchka; sisters, Josephine Czarnyszka and Anna Dolney and his brothers; Leopold, Emil and Albert Muchka. He is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Paul was born in Milwaukee the son of Leopold and Anna (nee Stuck). He was raised in Milwaukee and enlisted in the Army/Air Force in 1947, serving his country as a clerk typist. After 40 years at St. Regis/Champion/International Paper, Paul retired and moved north to open PJ’s Sporting Goods, near Crivitz. He loved to fish and hunt, so living in the northwoods was a dream come true. After retiring from sporting goods sales, he returned to southeast Wisconsin to be closer to family. Paul enjoyed visiting with family and many friends at his home at The Heritage Living Center in East Troy.
The family will receive friends at EAST TROY BIBLE CHURCH, 2660 North St. (Hwy 20) in East Troy, WI 53120, on Saturday, February 4th, from 9 AM until 9:45 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Wauwatosa. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Paul’s name may be directed to the Building Fund of East Troy Bible Church.
