William F. "Bill" Gruetzmacher
July 19, 1931 - January 12, 2012

Of East Troy, was called home on Jan 12, 2012 at the age of 80.  He is survived by his loving wife of 26 yrs Ida (nee Jackson) Gruetzmacher.  Loving father of Michael (Sherryl) Gruetzmacher, Steve Gruetzmacher, Jessica (Jon) Gruetzmacher Newhouse, June (Cal) Walter, and Nancy (Bob) Burge.  Proud grandpa of Chad (Melissa) Ford, William Gruetzmacher, Steven Gruetzmacher, Samantha Gruetzmacher, Dyland Ford, Avery Newhouse, Craig (Annette) Jensen, Adam (Sheena) Solberg, and Angie (Brandon) Lockerman.  Bill is further survived by 13 great-grandchildren, sisters Anna Strohm and Ester Swatek, special family friend Debbie Corrao, many nephews, nieces and friends.  He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Crystal Gruetzmacher, a sister Luella Ellefson, and a brother Herman Gruetzmacher.

Bill was a truck driver and a member of the East Troy American Legion Post #188.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan 17 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church (211 Main St. Mukwonago) from 2:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 5:00 PM at the church.  Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park (14875 W. Greenfield Ave. New Berlin) with full military honors.
