Fries, Dixie Lee Of Mequon, WI left this earth to join her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at the age of 76, losing her battle with cancer and kidney failure.  Born and raised in Jefferson, WI.  Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Pearl Dummer, her brother "Buddy", and Joe, the love of her life.  Survived by her beloved children, John (Cindy) Kranich of Mequon, WI. and Sarah (Jeff) Kanter of Round Lake Beach, IL., her adored grandchildren, Jordan and Cameron Kranich, and Bailey and Alex Kanter, her sister Dolores Strehlow of Rome, WI, and many friends and relatives.  For more than twenty years, Dixie was the personal secretary to Attorney Robert Loots.

Visitation Monday December 12 from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at the FUNERAL HOME IN MEQUON. Funeral Service to follow at 6:00 PM. Entombment Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.(Meet in green parking area). If desired, memorials to the American Diabetes Association appreciated.
