Found peace on November 20, 2011 at the age of 71.  Dear brother to the late Cora (the late August) Pietila, the late Jack, William, Kenneth (Patricia J.), Mildred (Donald) Lewis, the late Lawrence (Mary and Steve Bertucci), the late Benjamin (Lorraine).  Uncle to Carolyn (C.J.) Schnell, William (the late Val) Pietila, Cora Mae (Richard) Crawford, Robert James (Holly) Pietila, Katherine (Lee) Scheuerman, Kenneth (Belinda) Kirker, Patricia L. Kirker, Alicia (Grant) Bradley, Mary Beth (David) Desens, Cheryl (Ron) Lewis-Strong, Ron (Terry) Lewis, Larry (Lisa) Kirker, Jacqueline (Chris) LeFever, Benjamin (Sheri) Kirker and Lorianne Kirker. 

Robert served his nation proudly from 1962 until 1964, with reserve service until 1968. 

Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on November 30, 2011 from 9AM until the time of service at 11AM.  Burial with full military honors will be held at the Southeast Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove.
