Lois Krill Dwyer
August 25, 1913 - October 21, 2011

Born August 25, 1913 and born again to eternal life on October 21, 2011.  Lois was a resident of St Camillus in Wauwatosa at the time of her death.  She is the daughter of the late Evelyn (nee Monks) and George Gillies and the sister of the late Gracemary Imse. Her husband Robert J. Dwyer whom she married on November 10, 2000 at St. Joseph Parish, Wauwatosa passed away on July 19, 2010.   She married Edward A. Krill at St Robert Parish, Shorewood in September, 1939 and they were married until the time of Edward’s death in July, 1979.  Lois is survived by her four sons:  Edward (Cecelia) of Vienna, VA.; David (Bonnie) of Cedar Grove; Thomas (Kathleen) of Wauwatosa; and William (Charlotte) of Nashotah.  Lois is also survived by her loving grandchildren:  Nathan, Catherine (Alin); Kevin (Marilyn), Brian,  Keelyn (Todd); Michael (Emily), Daniel (Julie), AJ (Carolyn), and Kortney (Mark), Annie (Rich) and Megan (Jason).   Lois is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren: Amelia, Hannah, Braillyn, Piper, Addison, Brytn, Douglas, Wolfgang, Gabriel, Samuel, Jacoby, Isaac, and Sullivan.  Lois is also survived by nieces and nephews:  Susan Imse Randall, Mary Ellen Kearney, Robert Krill, James Krill, and Leigh Ann Miresse.   Since her life was long and meaningful, many of her friends are now welcoming her in Paradise along with Robert, Edward and her grandchildren Charlie, Allison, Peter and Kelly.

Lois was very proud of her Irish Heritage which dates back to 1855  when her grandparents James and Bridgett Monks came from Ireland and settled on Irish Lane in Fitchburg, WI.   She was a graduate of Shorewood High School and was employed by the Allen Bradley Company in her early years.  Lois was well known for her quiet elegance, wisdom, Irish charm, and beauty.   She was quite active at St. Sebastian’s Parish where all four sons graduated and at Marquette University High School where all four sons  graduated as did both husbands Robert and Edward and grandsons Kevin and Brian.  Our Mom and Grandmother will truly be missed by her loving family along with the many Dwyer family members.   She was our “Irish Rose” and provided much love, comfort and direction over her many years.  A Memorial Mass will be held in her memory on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00AM, with visitation from 9:30AM until the time of the Mass at San Camillo Chapel, 10200 West Bluemound Road in Wauwatosa.  A reception will follow the Mass at San Camillo.  Private Family burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, Lois would appreciate contributions to Marquette University High School or the charity of your choice.
