(nee Mieritz) Resident of Hubertus, formerly Mequon.  Passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the age of 35 years, with her husband Scott and her parents, Tim and Jacque (nee Bruckner) Mieritz by her side. Christine is further survived by her two children, Austin, age 5 and Taylor, age 3, her brother, Glenn (Jessica) Mieritz, her grandparents, John and Bev Bruckner and Olivia Mieritz. She was preceded in death by her grandpa Elroy Mieritz. She will be further survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at CALVARY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 247 S. Main St., Thiensville, on Tuesday, November 16 from 4 PM until 6:45 PM with Memorial Services beginning at 7 PM. Inurnment will be private at St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Christine’s name may be directed to the Southeast WI Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, PO Box 681145, Milwaukee, WI 53268-1145.

Christine graduated from Homestead High School, UW Whitewater and received a Masters Degree from UW Milwaukee. She was employed by M & I Investment Management Company as a portfolio manager.

Christine was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant with Taylor. With help from Dr.’s Walker, Chitambar, Mueller and Peltier, she fought a brave battle overcoming many challenges, always with a smile and a thank you. Many at Froedtert will remember her fondly. A Special thank you to all who helped her so much, especially the nurses of 4 NW and her co-workers at M & I for their love and support throughout this time.
