Of Hubertus. 

Age 93.  Born to Eternal Life on Sunday, October 18, 2026. 

Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Susan (nee Lindauer) and his daughter, Lynn Prochaska. 

Dear father of Karen (Michael) O’Leary, Christopher Birler and Mark (Melissa) Birler. Dear brother of David (Faye) Birler and Barbara Doerflingr.  Further survived by his 4 grandchildren; his son-in-law, Rich Prochaska; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

James was also preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Lila (nee Karlmann); and his brother-in-law, Ted Doerflinger. 

Visitation Friday, October 30, 2026 from 10:00am until Time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00Noon at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 1200 Saint Gabriel Way, Hubertus. Interment St. Hubert Cemetery, Hubertus.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the VFW Post #9202 in Germantown appreciated.
