Donna Marie Zabawa passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on September 17, 2026.

Donna is survived by her loving daughters Joy (Kyle) Massie and Laura (Craig) Zabawa. Proud Grandma of Russel. Siblings: Mary Ann Schemenauer, Terri (Keith) Keber, Joe (Sharon) Schemenauer, and John Gallagher. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Donna was born in Rhinelander, WI, on March 14, 1946. She graduated from Messmer High School and attended the University of "What's A Matta U". Donna enjoyed her career as a caregiver and was very proud of the sewing business she started. She liked going for the occasional joyride around town and spending time with her best friend Jeannie Clark. She loved good music, delicious food, and thrifting. She'll be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 25th, at Schmidt & Bartelt Sussex Funeral Home (W250 N6505 HWY 164 Sussex, WI 53089). The visitation is from 6pm until the time of sharing at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to the charity of your choice in Donna's memory.
