Don Edmonds passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at the age of 90.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Shirley. Loving Father to Cindy (John) Helm, Craig (Carolyn), Cary (Dedra), and Curt (Michelle). Beloved Grandpa of 9 and Great-Grandpa to 8. Don is further survived by his sister Betty Grove.

Don was one of the original Sussex Hamilton high school teachers when the school opened in 1962, where he worked until retirement. Don also coached the boys golf team at Hamilton for many years. He was a long-time member of the Sussex Lions Club and was a proud member of Sussex United Methodist Church.

A visitation will be held on Saturday September 5th from 10am until the time of service at 11:30am, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls (N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave. Menomonee Falls, WI, 53051).
