Reinke, Frederick Elmer

Age 81. Passed away on August 3, 2026 with his beloved wife Joan holding his hand. Loving father of Gretchen Reinke and Emily Reinke. Cherished brother of Mary (Jim) Reinke-Scorzelli. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Margaret Reinke.

Fred earned his doctorate from UW Madison and then joined and proudly served as an ER doctor and Captain in the US Airforce. He then earned a degree in nuclear medicine and ran the Nuclear Medicine Department at Overton-Brooks VA Medical Center. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially when they visited National Parks together.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 19, 2026 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, W156 N8131 Pilgrim Rd. in Menomonee Falls, from 11am until time of service at 12pm. Private inurnment at Forest Home Cemetery.
