Katherine Luhman “Tink” Thomson (age 94) of Glendale, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026.  She was born to George and Amarynthia (Smith) Luhman in Milwaukee, WI on January 11, 1932.

Tink is survived by her loving children Jim, Beth (Brian) Bolling, Kathy, Mary (Kris) Carpenter, and Bob (Kathy).  She is also survived by grandchildren Dan (Jasmine), Sarah, Michael (Martin), Laura, Rachel, a great grandchild Gianna, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tink was preceded in death by her husband Neil and siblings Betty, Burt, Sue, and Mary. 

She was a humble, loving, patient, and kind woman who will be remembered for her generosity, gift of hospitality, service to church, extensive volunteerism, love of English Springer Spaniels, and devotion to family and friends. Tink found great joy in reading, watching Hallmark movies, and listening to classical music.  She enjoyed supporting local sports teams (Badgers, Bucks, Packers, and especially the Brewers) and loved her summers spent on “Deepwoods” lake in northern Wisconsin.  Her selfless nature and loving heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Celebration of life will be held August 24, 2026, at United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay, 819 E Silver Spring Drive, at 11am followed by a luncheon/reception.
