It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Gregory Otzelberger who peacefully entered the arms of Jesus on June 20th, at the age of 62.
Born on 09/06/1963 in Cudahy, Wi. Kevin lived a life marked by resilience, strength, and a love for those closest to him. Through life's triumphs and hardships, he remained a man who cared deeply for his family and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Above all else, he was a father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His greatest gift was the love he shared with his family. Whether through laughter, stories, advice, or simply being present, he created memories that will be cherished forever.
Kevin enjoyed doting over his dog Bear, tending to his butterfly garden, history and was a proud member of the EAA. He had a vast trivial knowledge of many different things. He found joy in the simple moments of life. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor, kindness, determination, and fierce faith. He was the rock that held the Otzelberger clan together. These qualities touched countless lives.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Otzelberger (Parrott); his daughter, Ashley, and son-in-law, John; his son, Brandon; his granddaughters, Sophiah and Nadia; his grandsons, Austin, Jeremiah, and Elijah; his mother, Dianna; his brother, Bryan; his sister, Kimberly; his niece, Raychel; and many other family members and friends who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude. He was preceded in eternal life by his father, Jerome; his Aunt Kathy; and his sister-in-law, Kat.
While our hearts are broken by his loss, we find comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended and that he has been welcomed home by his Savior. Though we prayed for a miracle to keep him with us longer, God's plan called him home, where he is now at peace.
His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the love he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, N84W17937 Menomonee Ave, on Tuesday, June 30 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.
