Debra “Debbie” Gail DeKoning passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on August 9, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was a longtime resident of Menomonee Falls.

Debbie was an incredibly strong woman who endured many hardships, especially before meeting the love of her life, George DeKoning. She carried herself through each season with remarkable courage, resilience, and an unwavering determination that defined so much of who she was.

Debbie and George shared more than 37 years together, marrying in 2005, and built a life filled with love, laughter, and companionship. Over the last fifteen years, they faced many health challenges, including cancer diagnoses, hospitalizations, and medical struggles. Through it all, they remained by each other’s side until George’s passing exactly seven months prior. 

One of Debbie's greatest expressions of love was through her cooking. Holidays and family gatherings were made special by the incredible meals she prepared, and her family will forever cherish the recipes she passed down and the memories created around her table.

Debbie was the proud mother of Dino Mantyk, Nikki (Brian) Trudeau, Doris (Dean) Deida and Dan DeKoning. She was a loving grandmother to Dino & Kira Regner, Ava & Aidan Trudeau, Matthew Deida and Jessica DeKoning.

Debbie will be remembered for her strength, determination, stubborn spirit, and the deep love she showed to those around her.

A visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt, N84 W17937 Menomonee Avenue, Menomonee Falls, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m, immediately followed by words from the family and a reception. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Debbie to join in celebrating her life.

Though her family grieves her loss immensely, they find comfort in knowing that Debbie and George are together once again.
