Lorelei Jean "Lorie" Ramsey (née Mueller)

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Lorelei "Lorie/Oma/OmieDomie/Mommy" Ramsey- cherished wife, adored mother, loving Oma, devoted daughter and sister, and great friend.

Lorie left this world peacefully on May 15, 2026 at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 18th, 1945 in West Bend, WI to Jerome and Florence Mueller. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Suzie. Lorie was a woman of extraordinary strength, grace, and warmth. She devoted her life to her family, approaching every day with a quiet spirit, grace and overwhelming love.

Throughout her life, she was passionate about cheering on her beloved Brewers, decorating her home, performing in musicals and singing in all her glory. She would awaken her children with her beautiful voice- singing songs from church, Godspell or The Sound of Music. She provided a home filled with beauty, comfort, wisdom, and endless love. She graced people with her talents as a beautician, a floral designer and a skilled photo technician but her greatest legacy was the deep, unconditional love she poured into her husband, Paul, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and everyone she met.

Lorie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul, and her children: Danny (Michelle), Chad (Andrea), Jill Hellman (Jeff) and Bryan (Corinna). She especially loved her grandchildren, Hannah, Lucy, Turner (Danielle), Paige, Jack, Max, Jason (Madilyn), Josiah, Gabriella, Ethan, Samuel, and her great grandchild, Melody. She also had several close friends who will miss her dearly. Lorie also had a soft spot in her heart for Dachshunds including Schnappsy, Bootsy, Buttons, Fritz I and Fritz II and especially Blue. She will be closely held in our hearts until we meet again.

A celebration of her beautiful life will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, N88W17658 Christman Rd. in Menomonee Falls from 9am until time of Memorial Mass at 11am. A livestream of the Mass (and Mass only) will be running at 11am, May 30, and can be found at https://youtube.com/live/pvyIFsz_w40?feature=share

All who knew and loved her are welcome to join us in honoring her memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to the Midwest Dachshund Rescue, Inc. (https://www.mwdr.org/ways-to-give)

“God Bless You and God Save You Through the Night.”

We love you, Oma!
