Ricki “Rick” C. Beutler, born November 19, 1954, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after showing incredible strength and resilience through nearly 40 years of battling Multiple Sclerosis. 

Rick was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Marion Beutler (Hepp) and Charles Beutler. He was the beloved husband of Marlin Beutler (Stockus), whom he loved more than anything in the world. Rick and Marlin were married on May 13, 1978, and together they built a life centered around family, laughter, friendship, and unconditional love. 

He was a proud and devoted father to Charla Beutler (Keith Skotzke), Marti Vassallo (Michael Vassallo), and Rick Beutler (Elida Beutler). Nothing meant more to Rick than his children and grandchildren, and he did everything he could for them throughout his life. He was also a loving grandfather to Jesse Beutler, Emily Beutler, Nathan Beutler, Anna Beutler, and Julia Beutler. 

Rick was a loving brother to Lori Mallory and her late husband, Steve Mallory, and was preceded in passing by his sister, Jodi Martin (Lynn Martin). He was also a proud uncle to his nieces Katie Meyer (Mallory) and Sarah Ash (Scotty Ash). 

Rick worked for many years as a construction expeditor and later enjoyed working as a ranger at several golf courses. He was the life of the party, always ready with a joke, a story, or a conversation that could make people laugh and feel welcome. 

He had a lifelong love for sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. Rick proudly held Packers season tickets since he was a kid and spent countless years attending games with the same close friends he had known since childhood, creating memories and traditions that lasted a lifetime. 

Despite living with MS for almost four decades, Rick never allowed the disease to define him. He showed remarkable toughness, humor, and perseverance through every challenge life placed in front of him. His strength inspired everyone who knew him. 

In honor of Rick, the family asks that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in lieu of flowers. 

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mo’s Irish Pub, 10842 W. Bluemound Rd., Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
