Of Menomonee Falls, found peace on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the age of 85 years old. Irene was born on May 09, 1940, a daughter of the late Clarence and Minnie Capelle. She was united in marriage to her best friend, Edward Boldt on August 30, 1969. Together they had two children. Irene’s dedication to her family and her home was unwavering. She took great pride in keeping things neat, tidy, and especially loved spending time in her vegetable garden.  Irene also enjoyed watching the wildlife in her backyard and feeding the hummingbirds. Having completed a certificate program, Irene also spent many years working in Healthcare as a Nurse. Her faith was steadfast. She was a dedicated longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lannon. Her generosity, kind heart, and beautiful smile will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

Irene will be dearly missed by her husband, Ed Boldt; children, Julie (Greg) Vivirito and Daniel Boldt; grandchildren, Josie and Nathan Vivirito; siblings, Robert (Bonnie) Capelle, Arlene (Arden) Brusten, Caroline Gebert, and Ruth (Richard) Bartelt. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Irene is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Alvin Capelle and brother-in-law, Jim Gebert.

Per Irene’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
