Of Menomonee Falls, was born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the age of 87 years. She was born on December 29, 1938, a daughter of Joseph and Frances Nicoski. Kay married William LaValley on September 27, 1959, and they shared 66 years together. Kay was known for her abilities in the kitchen. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and cake decorating, creating many special birthday and wedding cakes.  Kay loved to sew beautiful clothes, crochet, and knit special baby blankets. Each grandchild has a treasured cross stitched Christmas stocking which she poured her heart into. Together her family enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling and many fun parties with their friends. Devoted to her faith she was an active member at St. James Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls. Her kind heart and gentle spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

Kathryn will be dearly missed by her husband, William LaValley; children, Debra (Jeff) Prasser, Linda Erdman, and James (Jeanne) LaValley; grandchildren, Justin (Chelsea) Erdman, Devin (Lauren) Erdman, Sarah Prasser, Elizabeth (Brent) Biedenbender, Jacob LaValley, Michael (Samantha) LaValley, Jessica LaValley and Timothy LaValley; great-grandchildren, Emerson, Naomi, Finnley, Ivy, Romy, Wesley, Carson, and Lana; siblings, Thomas (Mary) Nicoski, Patricia (Gary) Rindo, and William Nicoski. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Kay is preceded in death by her son, Joseph LaValley, Great-granddaughter, Elyssa Erdman, and parents.

The visitation for Kay will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 1PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 2PM at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls. Burial will immediately follow at St. James Rose Hill Cemetery, W233 N5639 State Highway 74, Sussex, WI 53089 (please meet at the cemetery).
