June Resch Hutchins of Menomonee Falls, WI passed into eternal life on April 17, 2026 at her home at the age of 96. She was born on June 28, 1929 a daughter of the late Alfred and Ruth (Feigley) Resch. June was born and raised in the Antigo area of Wisconsin, and married her one love, Guy Roland Hutchins. Their 62 years of married life were spent in the Milwaukee area, raising their 13 children. Guy was a successful mason and cement contractor. Her constant joy in life was caring for “the little ones” and serving others. She always had ice cream pails full of cookies in her freezer and lucky visitors could take a pail home. Her famous, personalized chocolate chip cookie recipe is now proudly made by great grandchildren for their children. Each person who ever landed on her prayer list was there forever, listed individually by name. Each soul benefited from her hours of prayer each day for God’s mercy upon them all. Her fervent hope was that each of her family members would live out their faith and hope in God.

She is survived by her children Judy (Dave) Hinickle, John (Elizabeth), Larry (Roxane), Tony (Robyn), Stephen (Kris), Charles (Libbey), Mary Low, Gerard (Kim), Brian, Kelly (Hoa), Therese (Jim) Hofmaier, Peter, other well-loved extended family members, and more than 140 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Joan, and dozens of nieces and nephews in the Resch and Hutchins families. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guy Roland in 2010, and her son, Guy Gerard in 2026. In addition, she was preceded in death by her sisters Florence, Stelle, Rosie, Margaret, & Ruth, and brothers Edward, Wilfred, Victor, Delbert, & Cornelius.

The family would like to express particular thanks to the granddaughters who have helped their Grandma through her final years: Jessica, Tori, and Elise; Katie, whose expertise and joyful presence the last month were indispensable; and particularly Rachel, whose generosity, love and skill have so enhanced the last two years of June’s life. Without their help, their Grandma would not have been able to live out her years peacefully at home.

Visitation will be held at St. Marys' Parish (N89W16297 Cleveland Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051) on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian burial following at 10:30 a.m.

A graveside service will follow the Mass at St. Columba Cemetery, Hwy 164 and Cty Rd Q in Colgate, WI.
