(nee Wagner) Linda passed on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 76 following complications from a serious fall at her home. She sustained multiple fractures to her legs and spine, requiring four surgeries with an extended hospital stay, followed by rehabilitation. Despite her strength and perseverance, severe complications arose that ultimately led to her passing.

Linda was a woman of strength, courage and unwavering faith. Throughout her illness, she remained steadfast in her trust in her Lord and Savior. She will be deeply missed by her family and countless friends, who find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in His presence.

Linda was the beloved wife of the late Conrad Nehmer. Loving sister of Terry (Gina) Wagner. Cherished aunt and godmother of Eric (Kristin) Wagner, Matthew (Jamie) Wagner and Jessica (Paul) Morris. Proud great-aunt to Hannah, Jacob, Sarah, Emily, Owen, Hunter, Hayden and Henry. Dear goddaughter and niece of Maxine Kuderer. Further survived by aunts, cousins and friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Geneva, and great-niece Grace.

Linda attended Washington High School in Milwaukee. Upon graduation, she attended technical college in the field of Data Processing. Following the completion of her technical training she began her career with Wisconsin Blue Cross & Blue Shield in the late 1960’s. Over the course of the next 50+ years Linda worked in the Data Processing and Systems Security departments for several different companies such as EDS, IBM and WellPoint while continuing to support the Wisconsin Blue Cross & Blue Shield business. She ended her career and retired from Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield in 2018. Linda also graciously gave her time serving the children of Blessed Savior Lutheran Church by teaching Sunday school and Vacation bible school for many years.

The family would like to thank Ed and Janet Steinhaus, church friends and neighbors, for their support and kindness to Linda over the years.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 25 from 10AM until time of Memorial Service at 11AM at Blessed Savior Lutheran Church; 15250 W. Cleveland Ave; New Berlin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Linda’s name to Blessed Savior Lutheran Church.

Anyone who has ever met Linda quickly learns of her love and passion for her favorite athletic teams. Linda was a lifelong diehard fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers and nothing brought her more joy than cheering on those two Wisconsin teams. To celebrate her love and spirit, attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team apparel to her memorial service.
