Steven Joseph Fasula, 70, of Mequon, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on March 13, 2026. He was born on March 31, 1955, in Rockford, Illinois, to Rougene (nee Fane) and Joseph Fasula.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Susan (nee Hay) Fasula; his three children, Lindsay (Jason) Fathallah, Ryan (Megan) Fasula, and Emily (Danny) O’Brien; and his eight cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry (Sandy) Fasula, Joseph (Liz) Fasula, and Mark (Mary) Fasula; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Greg Van Vleet; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rougene and Joseph Fasula, and his brother, Jeffrey Fasula.

Steve was a professional airline pilot and traveled the world during his career, but his favorite place was Three Lakes, Wisconsin, where he loved to fish and enjoy the peaceful Northwoods. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and deep love for his family, especially his grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation for Steve on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., with a memorial service starting at 6:00 p.m., at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10280 N Port Washington Road, Mequon, Wisconsin.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Azura Memory Care, Allay Hospice, Dr. Sheila Eickenseer, and Sarah Prohuska from the Ozaukee County Aging and Disability Resource Center, for the care and support they provided.
