Rebecca “Becky” Ann Koller Shockley of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on March 3rd, 2026, at the age of 83. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Becky was born on March 12th, 1942, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Becky was always passionate about helping other people, working as a home health care worker while living in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, where she provided care to those sick and homebound for nearly 15 years, often becoming close friends with the families she served.
Becky lived and raised her two daughters, Deborah (Matt) and Danielle (Scott), in Green Bay, Wisconsin and eventually moved to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to be near her immediate family. Becky reveled in the joy of motherhood and was fiercely devoted to her daughters. They enjoyed talking, laughing, sharing stories, and meals. Becky also loved spending time with her grandchildren, Anna Rebecca Falk; Dylan Thomas Lennie (Devin Jellish); Zoe Gwendolyn Falk (Joseph Hess); and Rebecca Ann Lennie. Becky’s grandchildren adored their “Nana” and got to experience many wonderful life experiences with her, forming a strong, open bond between them, each with their unique relationship. These experiences included sharing vacations, cottage visits, holidays and cooking. Most importantly, Becky found joy in their everyday lives.
Becky was known to be an avid reader, often going through a book a day! Her favorite books were The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley and Nicholas and Alexandra by Robert K. Massie. She was a fantastic cook, showcasing her love by sharing meals and treats to her friends and family. Becky also had a strong faith and relationship with God, calling upon Him each night in her bedtime prayers. Furthermore, Becky had a deep respect for animals and was a doting Nana to the many who graced her heart and time. Becky was a kindhearted woman who befriended anyone she interacted with. She was able to connect with all different types of people, loving them for their unique nature. Her spunky and fun personality brought joy to many, and will continue to touch all of us for years to come.
Becky is survived by former spouses, William Shockley and Phillip Koller (Lea Peot), father of Deborah and Danielle, who she remained friends with throughout her life. She also is survived by her sisters-in-law, Gretchen Koller and Marcy Gamrath, as well as loving nieces, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Mae Smith, her stepfather, Clair V. Smith, and her nephew Jason McSwain.
An intimate celebration of life will be held at a later date.
