Found peace surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife Sharon of 30 years; his children Bryan Paulsen, Deb (Curt) Pederson, and Chad (Katie) Montalbano; his grandchildren Brianna, Eric, Charlie, Mollie, and Jenna; his great grandchildren Miriam, Benedict, and Evelyn; and his siblings Thomas (Jill) Paulsen and Linda (Bob) Boettcher. Further survived by other relatives and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Philip and Donna Paulsen, his brother Russ, and his beloved dog Chase.
