(Nee Frank) Vivian Schmidt, 90, of Brookfield WI passed away on March 8, 2026 with her family by her side. She may have been small in stature but was mighty in spirit, lived her life with strength, humor, and a love for the simple joys that made every day special. She was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose family meant everything to her.

Vivian loved life and lived it fully. She enjoyed, traveling, snowmobiling, trap shooting until age 87, playing dartball, dancing, and singing along to Sweet Caroline. She was known for her spunky personality and the laughter she brought wherever she went. Whether it was sharing stories, going on adventures, or spending time with those she loved, Vivian had a way of making every moment memorable. 

She leaves behind her daughter Monica, who was her best friend, her loving grandchildren, Brandon (Ami) and Brittany (Andy), and her adored great-grandchildren, Gage, Natali, Averi, and diesel the dog who was always by her side the last nine months while she resided with Monica.

Vivian is now reunited with her beloved husband, Roger and her son-in-law Jim.

There will be a celebration of life held on April 11th from 1pm to 4pm at the Legion Post 449 (3245 N 124th St, Brookfield, WI 53005) where so many knew and loved her.
