Gilbert “Gil” Harding, age 91, passed away February 21, 2026 after a long and full life. He was born May 6, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Buford and Cornelia (Plate) Harding. In addition to his parents, Gil was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary and youngest son Bradley as well as his siblings, Joan, Donald, Charles and Marilyn. Throughout his life he enjoyed golfing, bowling, painting and woodworking. He had a quick wit and would always have jokes to share at family gatherings. He is survived by his children, Kim (Steve) Hill, Bryan (Mary) Harding and Kathy (Tom) Rangsy. Grandfather to Kyle (Ashlee) Harding, Nathan Harding, Brittany (Ian) Liljestrand, and Evan Harding. Great grandfather to Casey and Etta Harding, Elliott and Laika Liljestrand. Further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and some wonderful neighbors. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6th at St. Joseph’s Church12130 W Center Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53222. Visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00pm will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
