Josef Karl Eibl Jr
July 18, 1964 - February 1, 2026
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Josef Karl Eibl Jr,  known as Joe, who was born on July 18, 1964, and died on February 1, 2026, at the age of 61.

Joe was the youngest of three children. He was preceded in death by his father, Josef  Karl Eibl, and by his older brother, Peter Eibl. He shared a particularly close bond with his mother, Barbara Eibl, who is now 90 years old, and he remained in frequent contact with her throughout his entire life.

From a very young age, Joe had a lifelong love of cars. As he grew older, there was rarely a mechanical issue he could not diagnose or fix. He had a special fondness for older model Cadillac Eldorados, inspired by memories of his father owning those cars during Joe’s childhood, and he also admired foreign imports, especially Audi. Cars were not just a hobby for Joe—they were a passion and a skill he mastered completely.

Though Joe often came across as a tough guy, he was deeply sentimental. Those who knew Joe well understood that beneath his tough exterior was a sensitive and caring heart.

Beyond cars, Joe was an exceptionally talented man. He did beautiful home renovation work and had the rare ability to fix almost anything that was broken. Friends and family knew that if something needed repairing, Joe was the person to call.

Late in life, Joe became a father to his daughter, Maddie, who is now 11 years old. She was Joe’s greatest joy and the person he loved most in the world. He hoped to be there to watch her grow up and to share in the many milestones of her life, but fate had other plans. Though Joe will not be there for every moment of her life, the love they shared will always be a part of who she is.

Life brought Joe more than his share of struggles and serious health issues, particularly in his later years. He lived with significant pain, yet he was a fighter and kept going. Most people never knew the extent of what he endured because Joe never complained. When asked if he needed help, his response was always the same: “I’m fine.” Despite his own challenges, he was always there for others, freely offering his time, skills, and help.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Maddie; his mother, Barbara Eibl; and his sister, Gerda Zivnuska, and her husband, James Zivnuska.

A celebration of life for Joe will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (N84W17937 Menomonee Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051) from 11:00 a.m. until the time of sharing at 12:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
