Entered Eternal Life on November 28, 2025, at age 83. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Vance) for 61 years. Loving Dad of Traci Ford and Michael Ford. Brother of Karen Goehring of Omaha NE, Jim (Kathy) Ford of San Antonio TX, Tom (Trish) Ford of Phoenix AZ. Beloved uncle of Wade (Kim) Goehring, and Terry Goehring.

 

Doug was a proud graduate of Creighton University, where he received his education and went on to make a lasting impact. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he was honored by the university as an esteemed alumnus of the School of Pharmacy during a special Evening of Honors. Doug also established a scholarship to support future generations of pharmacy students, reflecting his deep commitment to the advancement of education and the profession he loved. For 35 years, Doug dedicated himself to the pharmacy field as a District Manager for Walgreens, where his leadership and expertise shaped the careers of many. His legacy in both pharmacy practice and education continues to inspire those he worked with and mentored.

 

Visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt – Menomonee Falls on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a humane society of your choice are appreciated, as Doug had a deep love for his dogs and a lifelong compassion for animals.
