Ronald R. "Ron" Reel
June 18, 1946 - November 12, 2025

Age 79, of Waukesha, was taken to his heavenly home on November 12, 2025, and was reunited with his first wife, Janice Reel (Mikulecky). Born on a farm in Unity, WI on June 18, 1946, he was a son of Roland and Mary Reel (nee Stini).  Ron is survived by his wife, Diane Belisle-Reel, who he was united in marriage with on April 5, 2008; children, JoEllen (John) Schuh and John Belisle; grandchildren, Tyler (Hannah) and Ethan Schuh, Josie, Raquel, Vincent, and Serene Belisle; brothers, Donald (Christine) Reel and James (Shirley) Reel; brother-in-law, James Mumper. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Ron was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice, parents, and sisters, Nancy (Delbert) Uhlig and Berdine Mumper.

Ron worked at RTE Corporation / Cooper Power Systems, where he was a Utility Worker. A dedicated employee, Ron retired in 2007 from Cooper Power Systems after 39 years of service. Ron enjoyed taking long walks, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. Together, Ron and Diane enjoyed their many adventures traveling to both international and domestic destinations. Ron proudly served his country in the United States Army and was based in Fort Bliss, Texas from December 1965 – December 1967.  Ron’s quick wit and sense of humor, kind heart, and nurturing spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.

The visitation for Ron will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 9:30AM until 11:15AM, at Corpus Christi Parish - St. Mary, 225 S. Hartwell Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186. The Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:30AM. Interment with Military Honors will immediately follow the Mass at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers memorials for Masses to Corpus Christi- St. Mary Church, AngelsGrace Hospice or to the charity of donor's choice are appreciated.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff, who Ron lovingly referred to as “my adorables,” at ProHealth Cancer Center, Waukesha Memorial Hospital and AngelsGrace Hospice for their exceptional care of Ron. A very special thank you to nurses Kelly and Ann for their tender care of Ron.
