Robert E. Stout Jr.
August 16, 1955 - November 12, 2025

Stout Jr., Robert E.

On November 12, 2025 on a bright, sunny morning Bob passed away in perfect peace in the presence of God and in the comfort of his own home. His devoted wife Jeri, his loving daughter Jess, and her husband Josh and Jeri’s daughter Julia at his side.

Bob was born to the late Robert and Joanne Stout (nee Koester) on August 16, 1955. He was named after his father Robert Edward and was the third of five much loved children, Mary (Patrick) Blenke, Carol (the late Steve) Kosmoski, Terry Cross and Patrick Stout. Bob was a devoted, godly husband and best friend to Jeri. A proud and loving father to Jess (Josh) Wohlrabe. He was a positive steady presence to Jeri’s children, Jamie (Payton) Gonzalez, Jon (Aly Zavitsanos) Hahn, Julia (Jesse) Lemel. To Mason, Jack, Tori and Evan he was the best Papa! They would have so much fun together, a ridiculous amount of laughing and usually some kind of contraption was always involved! He loved teaching them anything and everything. He and Jeri spent many years enjoying Door County with Bob’s siblings and late brother-in-law Steve. Bob’s sister Carol and her late husband Steve were prominent godly mentors in Bob (and Jeri’s) life. Bob is further survived by many cherished friends. A special thank you goes out to Crossway, Bob and Jeri’s church family for being alongside them always, but especially through Bob’s cancer journey. Special thanks to Sue, Pastor Jason, Pastor Dan, Ralf, Bob’s bible study group and all those who prayed. Bob was courageous and brave through his twenty month battle with lung cancer.

Bob was an avid reader and loved learning as much as he could about almost anything. Bob was very creative (though he would deny that)! His many hobbies included wood working, 3D printing, laser engraving, and creating with his CNC. Many gifts were made! Bob and Jeri loved working on art projects and projects around their home together.

Bob spent most of his working years at Brady Corporation. He did electrical engineering and programming. Bob happily retired from work life in 2021.
