Nick Santoro
June 1, 1927 - November 10, 2025

Nick Santoro, a beloved member of his community, was Born to Eternal Life on November 10, 2025, at the age of 98. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Virginia Santoro, as well as his cherished siblings: sisters Carmela (Ted) Balistreri, Rose (Florian) Malkowski, Marie (Tony) Kastner, Caroline (Myron) Jennaro, and brothers Jack and Ted Santoro. He is survived by Mary Santoro, the wife of his late brother Jack, along with many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his warm spirit.

Nick honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, exemplifying a commitment to his country that would define his character. After his service, he enjoyed a fulfilling career and retired from Kohl’s Corporation, where he was known for his dedication to his work and the people he served.

A long-time member of the Three Holy Women Church, Nick devoted much of his life to his faith and community. He was actively involved in the Pompeii Men’s Club and served as an usher at both Pompeii Church and Three Holy Women, where he was recognized for his kindness and reliability.

In recent years, Nick found companionship with Ruth Kharouf, who stood by him through life’s challenges.

Nick Santoro’s legacy of love, service, and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and the community in which he thrived.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at Three Holy Women Catholic Parish – St. Rita, 1617 N. Cass St. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
