Rex L. Stoecker
June 10, 1929 - October 24, 2025

Rex LeRoy Stoecker, born June 10, 1929, died peacefully surrounded by his family on October 24, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Mukwonago, WI.

As a young man, Rex worked on his father’s Jersey Dairy farm. Rex married Joan Sheskey on October 11, 1952, and they spent 73 happy years together. He was called to duty in the Army from 1955 to 1957 and served in the Signal Corps as a radio operator in the South Pacific. Upon returning home, Rex worked as a plumber for Horn, Stoecker, & Horn in Mukwonago for many years.

With the hands of a craftsman, Rex enjoyed woodworking and had a special love of pine trees. His family will continue to cherish his beautiful and intricate pieces of art.

In addition to his parents Walter and Ruth Stoecker, Rex was preceded in death by sister Marcia Kufalk.

Rex is survived by Joan, his loving wife, and sons Randy (Tammy Raduege) Stoecker and Timothy (Karen) Stoecker. He was the proud grandfather of Haley Stoecker, Kacey (Alex) Russell, and Joshua Stoecker. Also left to cherish his memory are his sister-in-law Connie Sheskey, brother-in-law Warren Kufalk, many nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends and neighbors.

Rex’s life will be honored at First Congregational Church of Mukwonago (231 Roberts Dr) on Tuesday, November 4, where he was a lifetime member. Visitation will be at 10AM, followed by a funeral service at 11AM.
