Of Mukwonago, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the age of 92.  Loving father of Tami Doyle and Todd Huebner (Ricky Bogema); proud grandfather of Kelsey Doyle and Keely Doyle. He is further survived by his dear friend Joan Anderegg.  Don was preceded by his wife Joanne L. Huebner of 58 years, and siblings Arlene Feest and Roger Huebner.

Don was a graduate of South Milwaukee High School.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army before graduating from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.  He was a math and science teacher in West Allis and Cudahy.

After retirement he and Joanne spent their time traveling with friends and family across the U.S. and Europe. His favorite destination was Ireland where he could enjoy the best pint of Guiness and made numerous close friendships with locals. His memory will live on in the stories he told to all who knew him.

There will be a small private family burial for Don and Joanne at the Lawson family plot, Monroe Center Cemetery, Monroe Center WI.  Memorial donations can be made in Don’s memory to the National Ataxia Foundation www.ataxia.org
