Norma Hulsey Kennedy (nee Parker)

Went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025.  Norma, 94, was born in Vermillion County, Illinois, on January 13, 1931.  She was the daughter of Ernest and Myrtle Estel (nee Kent) Parker.  Norma was the wife of Patrick Charles Kennedy.  Mother of Gail (Gary) Mirenda.  Grandmother of Cheryl (Kyle) Belott and Christie Larscheidt.  Great grandmother of Sarah, Lauren and Matthew.  Sister of Margreta (Marge) Westrich, and Larry (Gisela) Parker.  Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Patrick, her sister’s Lavada Buck, Ernestine Shields, Leta Faye Reimann, and her brother Delbert Parker. 

Norma was a Nurse’s Aide at Columbia Hospital for a number of years.  All her life she enjoyed reading and being outdoors.  She felt the most fulfilled when she could be of help and encouragement to others.  Norma was a great woman of faith in the Lord.  Her biggest hope was that she could encourage people in the Lord and she could share her faith in Christ so that others might come to know Jesus as the personal Savior.
