William "Bill" A. Morton
August 5, 1946 - September 26, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Arthur Morton, Jr., who left us on September 26, 2025, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 5, 1946, in Sweet Water Tennessee to parents Alice Lowe and William Morton, Sr.

William Morton is survived by his beloved wife Evelyn Morton; children Rhonda Weber (Michele) and Bruce Morton (Annie); grandchildren Dustin Beres, Ryan Canavan, Sean Canavan, Sloane Oxley-Barnes (Claire), Abe Oxley-Hase, Teagan Oxley-Hase, Kendall Morton and Cameron Morton; sister Delores Krueger (Randall), and brother Robert Morton.  Also left to cherish his memory are nine nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.

William was a retired Marine veteran, who served two terms in the Vietnam war as a battalion chief. He also received a Purple Heart and many military decorations.

He was a beloved spouse, father, sibling, and friend who was an avid sports fan, loved playing baseball and building car engines.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Ann Kubis (Bob) and brother Dallas Bruce Morton.

A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post #375 in Mukwonago on Sunday, October 12, 2025, located at 627 E. Veterans Way from 12-3 pm. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life and share memories.

Dogs2Dog Tags rescues, trains and places dogs with service members who have been diagnosed with post-combat stress and anxiety.
