Passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025 at the age of 92 years in Mequon Wisconsin. 

Elaine‘s loyal union to her husband Wallace was her passion, along with raising her six children. She worked hand-in-hand and side-by-side with Wallace managing movie theaters for over 50 years. She also had a passion for making beautiful things. She was skillful and some might even call her a perfectionist when it came to making beautiful things such as wedding gowns, blankets, quilts, clothing and hats. She could make anything. She was the best at it and loved every minute of it. If it wasn’t perfect, it just wasn’t right. She found great joy in presenting the special gifts to her children grandchildren, and to anyone who was of loving service to her. 

We feel blessed and fortunate to have had her for 92 years. She will be greatly missed. 

Elaine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wallace Konrad; her sister, Jeanne Gipp; her brother, Glenn Minnick and her beloved grandson, Adam Boll.  

She is survived by her son, Joseph (Jeanne) Konrad and her daughters, Tina (Greg) Kapp, Janus Konrad, Brenda (Ross) Erickson, Kelly (Jon) Kassander and Amy (Tony) Boll;  13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also her sister-in-law, Judith (Alan) Hoff and her sister-in-law, Jeanne Minnick and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation Monday, September 8 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005
