Found peace on August 9, 2025. Age 87 years. Loving husband of the late Darlene. Loving father of Mike (Sue) and Steve (Amy). Proud grandpa of Liz, Tom, Matt, and Brad. Dear brother of Lloyd (Kathy) Kohn and Diane (Fred) Flasch. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Gerald will be held on Monday August 18 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 11 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow the Service at Sunnyside Cemetery, Lannon, WI.

Gerald taught in the Tripoli, Edgar, Franklin, and Wauwatosa School Districts with 28 years being spent in the Wauwatosa School District. He was also the Administrator for camp Pow Wow for 30 years.

The Funeral Home's main entrance on Menomonee Ave. is under construction. It is open for traffic coming westbound from Appleton Ave. but not eastbound. There are two other entrances to the Funeral Home. One is on the east side at Shady Lane and the other is on the southwest side off of Town Hall Rd.
