Joseph Edmund Turba, 91, of Menomonee Falls, WI, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born December 26, 1933 in Russell Township, Wisconsin to Joseph and Laura Turba, Joe lived a life filled with love, adventure, and devotion to family and faith.
Joe built a successful career as a District Manager for Warner Lambert Company, where he was admired for his dedication and strong work ethic. After retiring, he found fulfillment as a hearse driver for Andrus Limousine Services, where his friendly nature and dependable service left a lasting impression on those he met.
A true enthusiast of life’s simple pleasures, Joe had a deep love for NASCAR, antique cars, and biking. He was a regular at tractor shows in Iowa, where he enjoyed the craftsmanship, conversation, and shared appreciation for rural traditions. Passions that he passed on to many of his grandchildren.
Joe had an adventurous spirit. He traveled across the country enjoying the beauty of our national parks and chasing his dream of visiting all 50 states. His sister, Marge often joined him on trips out west.
Joe was a devoted member of St. Anthony Parish. He gave generously of his time, volunteering in countless ways over the years. He served faithfully as an alter server for funerals, lent a hand at parish bingo nights, and was a welcome presence and leader at their monthly fish fry for many years— always ready to help with a friendly smile and a generous heart. His faith was a quiet, steady foundation that guided him through out his life.
More than anything, Joe was a family man. He spent countless cherished hours with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, building bonds filled with laughter, lessons, and unconditional love. His legacy lives on in the stories he shared around his table, the road trips remembered, and the traditions passed from one generation to the next.
Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Turba (nee LaDue); his son, John Turba Sr.; his parents, Joseph and Laura Turba; his sister, Marjorie Pavlic; and his brother, Ronald Turba.
