Joseph Michael Christensen was a kind and beloved member of the Wauwatosa community. He was born to life on June 4, 1962 and passed away on November 19, 2023.

He enjoyed gathering and storytelling, following all things baseball, and walking through his East Tosa neighborhood with his adorable companion, Snowball.

His family and friends remember how he brightened up every room with his beautiful blue eyes, joyful laugh, and unconditional acceptance.  

His memory lives on in his mother, Nancy Christensen.

His siblings, Dean (Anne), Judy Swett, Dave, Greg, John (Darlene), Scott (Patti), Carrol (Carl) Jensen, Mary Pat, and Cathy.

His nieces and nephews, Matt (Missy), Brad (Jess), Jenilyn Swett, Joanna Swett, Jake (Sam) Ebert, Taylor (Kodie), David (Jaime), Ryan (Becky), Josh, Alyx (Rudy), Jake (Meg), and Teaghen (Andrew). 

As well as 11 great-nieces and nephews, and countless other family and friends whom he adored.

Joe lived life wholeheartedly, and we’re comforted knowing he is now at peace. 

Per Joe’s wishes, we will not hold a public service and will celebrate his life at a later date.
