Of Colgate. Born to eternal life June 22 at the age of 47. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Laura (nee Egle) of 21 years; loving children Owen, Doug and Meghan; mother Eleanor “Micki” Weske; and siblings Tom, Lynn (Mark) Leidel, Polly (Chris) Blommel and Carolyn (Donnie) Gierach. Further survived by 11 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his father Art.

Jon was fearless and handy, able to fix anything. He loved snowmobiles, cars, motorcycles, airplanes and boats—anything with an engine. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting pheasants, ducks and grouse, fishing, skiing and heading “Up North” to his cabin in Sayner.

Visitation will be held at ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC PARISH, 1200 St Gabriel Way, Hubertus, WI 53033, Friday, June 30 from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at St. Hubert’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
