Lee P. Wegner Sr.,          

Of the Town of Genesee, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2022 at the age of 84.  Loving father of Kim (Drew) Tordik, Penny Wegner (Fredrick Kelley), Lee Wegner Jr., and Michelle White; proud grandpa of Kristopher (Janet) Pine, James Tordik, Trey Kelley, Tristan Hecyk; great-grandpa of Cassandra, Aurora, Addison, Belladonna, and Andrew; and best buddy to his favorite furry friend, Scooter. He is further survived by his sister Elaine Wegner, other relatives and many friends.  Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ethelynn “Lynn” Wegner, and his brother Paul Wegner.

Lee Proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines.  He owned and operated Wegner Trucking Company for over 40 years.  He loved hunting, fishing, working at Eagle Springs golf resort and plowing snow.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mukwonago, from 4:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/
