Mary Ann Drapeau
1934 – 2021
Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Mary Ann Drapeau passed to her final reward on Friday, 17 Dec 2021, joining her late husband of 59 years, Richard Drapeau.
Mary Ann is survived by her children: Donna (Mike Watts) of Chicago, Paul (Andrea) of Milwaukee, Joseph (Theresa) of Mount Horeb, David (Caren) of Los Angeles, and Richard (Sandra) of Victoria, along with 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her brother Charles (Mary), extended family, and many friends.
Mary Ann was born to Joseph and Mary Jensik in Chicago in 1934. She studied nursing and worked as a registered nurse in both Florida and Illinois. She married Richard Drapeau in 1959. As their family grew, they moved from Illinois to Wisconsin, settling in Menomonee Falls in 1967, where they continued to enjoy family, friends, life, and retirement.
The deep, gentle love of Mary Ann, Mom, Nana will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6 at Good Shepherd Parish in Menomonee Falls from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Private burial to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks mourners to consider donations to the Good Shepherd Church Eschweiler Fund in honor of the deceased.
