Entered into Eternal Life on August 4, 2021 at the age of 89. Survived by her loving children JoEllen (Richard) Peterson, James (Debra), Janet (late Ric) Mattie, Jodi (Michael) Reesman, and Jerrilyn (Dean) Schaffer. Further survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald G. Honzelka, her twin sister Doris Pesik, and her grandson Ryan Honzelka. 

Dottie was born to the late Loretta and Milton Timm on March 17, 1932. She shared her birthday with her twin sister, the late Doris Pesik, Dottie attended Rufus King High School.

She married the love of her life, the late Ronald Gale Honzelka, on November 25, 1950. They would welcome 5 children.

Dottie was a people person, because of that her career as a waitress suited her well. She was employed at the pizza wagon and most notably, Manning’s Restaurant.

After waitressing for many years, Dottie would go on to work at St. Mary’s hospital at the switchboard, Columbia Hospital, and the YMCA until her retirement.

Dottie’s children, 12grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren brought her a lot of joy. She enjoyed spending time with them. She always had a stack of all occasion cards to send out for birthdays.

Dottie was spunky, loved animal print clothes, gossip magazines, country music, and spice drops.

Dottie will be missed by her many friends and family and all that knew her.

Visitation will take place at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 5pm - 7pm. Service to follow. Private burial will take place on Friday August 20, 2021 at Valhalla Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donate to a charity of your choice in Dottie's name.
